Classic Cars Ltd. were opening a new car showroom in Edgware. As part of their launch the brief was to design and implement a website which could be updated in-house, showed a professional corporate image but also incorporated stylistic design. We were given an open brief with little to work initially apart from their logo.

We first realised that we were dealing with high end cars such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porsche and Ferrari. We took advance of the top spec cars with photography as the cars appeared very desirable at first site. This needed to be exploited and so we decided on using a close-up of the Mercedes SL500 on the homepage. Coupled with the 'Quality Cars at affordable prices', we were on to something. We had two commonly used sections 'new cars' and 'used cars' which were ultimately the online showcase.

On the backend, we developed an advanced Content Management System which allowed the in-house team of salesmen and receptionists to update the pages to suit their stock. As this changed on a weekly basis, it needed to be very simple to use and also allow for /images to be uploaded at ease. We developed the be-spoke solution and gave in-house training which is now used on a daily basis for updating the cars.
